Jeff Noelte has a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of California (U.C.) Riverside, a M.S. in Environmental Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). Dr. Noelte is a registered Civil Engineer in the State of California with over 15 years of experience. He is recognized by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers (AAEE) as a Board Certified Environmental Engineer (BCEE) in Water Supply & Wastewater. His professional experience has focused around process design and optimization in the water and wastewater treatment field. He is a certified wastewater operator (Grade V), and and was the manager of the Technical Services Department at the Inland Empire Utilities Agency where where he was responsible for troubleshooting and optimizing wastewater treatment processes, designing and commissioning treatment plant upgrades/expansions, performing pilot studies, and developing documents to guide project planning efforts. Dr. Noelte performed his doctoral research on the effects of surface chemistry on particle deposition kinetics in flow through porous media with Profs. Hoffmann and Morgan as advisors. His recent work includes evaluating potential groundwater recharge projects and developing operator training courses for advanced water treatment processes.
